Mobile Manifest - Check out the apps on that! 21st July
Over the last couple of years, we've seen mobile apps become a recognised part of daily life for mobile phone users. Apple’s iPhone has blazed the trail for the mobile industry, and created overnight a business model for monetising content on portable devices. Are these models working? Are people making money? How do I exploit apps to promote my business? Where do I start?
Whether you’re a developer, agency, brand or individual interested in mobile apps, Screen Yorkshire’s Mobile Manifest will answer these questions through a series of showcases, panel debates and presentations by the industry.....

Screen Yorkshire
Screen Yorkshire manages the new £15m Yorkshire Content Fund, launched in February 2012. Screen Yorkshire will invest in content within in TV, film, video games and the digital sectors in Yorkshire and Humber through the innovative new Yorkshire Content Fund. The largest fund of its kind in the UK, the Yorkshire Content Fund is managed by Screen Yorkshire and is funded with £7,500,000 of investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which will be matched by private investment on a project-by-project basis. Screen Yorkshire will invest in content creation by Yorkshire-based companies as well as being used to attract productions looking to locate within the region.
